Poor tire condition is being investigated as one factor in the death of 37 year old     Thomas R. Iden of Waterford, Michigan. The crash happened Tuesday just before 1pm on Interstate 90, 32 miles east of Buffalo.

The tires of the Jeep Wrangler Iden was driving were worn past the tread wear indicator. The left rear tire began to lose its tread as he drove west on I- 90. Iden lost control of the Jeep due to tread separation and the truck ran off the road, tripped and overturned one time ejecting him from the vehicle as he was not wearing his seat belt. He was dead at the scene.

This marks the 95th fatality on Wyoming roadways in 2014.
