The Nicolaysen Art Museum in Casper has two art exhibitions that have been generated by Wyoming and local artists.  But, if you want to see them, you'll need to stop in soon because the exhibitions close in less than two weeks.

Two exhibitions:

"These two close January 2nd. One is the Ucross Foundation 27 years of visual arts residencies, and that's in our McMurry Foundation Gallery. The other exhibit is works from the Casper Artist Guild; it's in the Rosenthal Gallery."

Clay Anthony, communications director for the Nicolaysen, welcomed everyone to come see the exhibits before they install different ones.

Admission price and hours:

"Five dollars for adults and 3 dollars for children. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm, and then on Sundays we have Family Free Sunday, which the admission is actually free for everyone and that's from noon to 4 on Sundays."

But the art museum will be closed for Christmas eve and Christmas Day and New Year's Day says Anthony.

Closed eves and days of holidays:

"We will be closed a few days of Christmas, the day before and the day of Christmas, and likewise for New Year's, we'll be closed New Year's Eve and New Years Day. But other than that, we'll be open for business and we'd love to see you."
