A nice flow of moisture coming from the south southwest will allow scattered thunderstorms to form across the state later today.  The mountains and the western two thirds of the state look to be in the best position for thunderstorms and showers this afternoon and this evening.  There will be some thunderstorms further east, but they will be more of the isolated variety.

On Tuesday more thunderstorms and showers will spread across the state.  Eastern counties will see a better chance for rain as well.  Keep in mind that these slow moving thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy rain, strong winds and hail.

As we head into Wednesday, the flow of moisture will start to take a bit of a break.  The eastern plains, however, could still see a few thunderstorms.
