The Riverbend District of the Boy Scouts Of America invite all shooters to join them at the Stuckenhoff Shooters Complex to compete for prizes and help out the District with this unique fundraiser.

 In its 4th year the High Plains Shootout is bigger and better than ever. We talked with Paris Blair and Carey Anson this morning about the event.

THE PRAIRIE SHOOT

FIVE CATEGORIES

ANY CALIBER RIFLE (W/SCOPE) AND SHOTGUN

  • CROCODILE shoot.  Must hit a one-inch target at 50 yds.  1 shot. 10pts
  • JUMPING BABOON shoot.  A balloon on a string at 100yds.  2 shots. 10pts
  • DOVE shoot.  Five CLAY pigeons.  10pts
  • LION SHOOT.  Six-inch plate at 100yds, standing unsupported. 2 shots.  10pts
  • KUDU SHOOT. Must hit a Six inch plate at 200yds.  2 shots.  10pts
  • SITATUNGA SHOOT. must hit a bowling pin at 300 yds. 2 shots. 10 pts
Advance Entry fee:  youth $10.00, Adults $15.00

          PRIZES for 1st, 2nd & 3rd highest scores

 

HIGH CARD SHOOT

A deck of playing cards (no jokers) will be spread out face down on a board at 50yds.  Each participant will have two(2) shots at the board.  After each shooter has fired his/her two shots, their cards will be recorded.  Highest total of the 2 cards wins.
