The male grizzly weighing about 530 pounds drew a lot of attention from drivers after it was killed May 1 about 100 yards off the eastern highway into Yellowstone.
This case is reminiscent of an incident in May 2016 when of a group of men with a Vancouver, B.C.-based company called "High on Life"walked on the Grand Prismatic Spring.
The bear hibernation season ends around March to April (the beginning of spring), so it's no surprise that there are more and more grizzly sightings lately at Yellowstone National Park.
