A 1/4 mile wide tornado touched down East of Wheatland, Wyoming earlier this afternoon. Initial reports from the National Weather Service and the Platte County Sheriff's Office placed the tornado about 8 miles east of Wheatland at 3:15 PM
Severe weather in Wyoming can happen anytime and last Friday was one of those times. Here in Casper we saw some big winds, some pretty good rainfall of about 1/3 of an inch and reports in the area of some heavy hail
