A $2.3 million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to the Casper College School of Health Sciences will bring a state-of-the-art simulation lab to the campus.

Tammy Frankland is health science dean, and she says the new lab facility will have four mock hospital rooms complete with computerized mannequins

Department Of Labor Withdraws Youth Agriculture Restrictions

Thursday evening the U.S. Department of Labor announced that proposed rules to restrict youth from working in agriculture would be withdrawn by the Administration. The new restrictions would have banned teenagers from certain livestock work and eliminated 4-H and FFA training certifications, limiting vocational agriculture training for youth and impairing the inter generational transfer of agriculture skills and knowledge

Agricultural Child Labor Law Open For Comment

Proposed changes to U.S. agricultural child labor laws are open for comment by the U.S. Department of Labor. Comments are being taken on a reinterpretation of the parental exemption.
