Boston-Davis Ranch Likely Sells To Houston Oilman
The owners of prime elk hunting land near Casper say they've decided to sell the property to the owner of the adjacent ranch, a Houston oilman.

Midwest, Edgerton Seek Firefighting EQ Dollars
Fire fighting equipment doesn't fit very well into the fire hall in Midwest and two of their trucks have been downgraded after 30 years of service.
The towns of Edgerton and Midwest are both in sore need of a firefighting upgrade. Recognizing their need the towns are looking for the dollars to make it happen. Grant writing is part of that process and the Natrona County Commission on Tuesday agreed to help out with $8,000 to get the process going.
Muddy Mountain Recreational Access, Meeting Seeks Options
Hunters and other outdoor recreationists have been disappointed for the second time recently regarding access to areas of Muddy Mountain. A decision by the State Lands and Investment Board not to acquire property on the mountain's backside has triggered a movement to find other ways of securing access. Of specific interest is the 4500 acre Boston/Davis Ranch.
