According to a social media post from WYDOT, Sand Draw Road, southeast of Riverton, was closed on Sunday due to winter weather conditions causing a plow truck to be pulled off of the road.
A 46-year-old Wyoming woman was fatally struck by a pickup yesterday, Jan. 31, on the Wind River Indian Reservation, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
“Knowing we have safe and effective vaccines arriving is like seeing light at the end of a tunnel,” said Dr. Alexia Harrist. “We have an end in sight at this point, which was not true for many months during this pandemic. We have hope and a reminder that this situation is for now and not forever.”
A 20-year-old Fort Washakie woman was killed and three others, including a baby and 2-year-old, injured in a single-vehicle rollover near Riverton earlier this month.
