CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A federal appeals court has denied an appeal from a Wyoming county that lost a voting rights challenge. A 2010 ruling overturned Fremont County's system of at-large voting for county commissioners after American Indians sued, claiming it diluted the Indian vote.

Snow closes portions of I-25, I-80 in Wyoming
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Some highways in southeastern Wyoming are still closed because of the snowstorm that swept the state.
Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne was closed Tuesday night and remained closed Wednesday
Andrea Mitchell, chief foreign affairs correspondent for NBC News and host of ‘Andrea Mitchell Reports,’ revealed that she’s recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Mitchell, 64, made the announcement at the end of her show on Wednesday.
According to Mitchell, the disease has not spread and her prognosis is excellent. It was detected, she said, during a routine screening.
Not only was last week’s East Coast earthquake nice enough not to seriously injure anybody, but its rumbling effects may have actually helped a deaf man hear again.
