The women's conference, Leap into Leadership, last week in Cheyenne, was part of an initiative by the Wyoming Women's Legislative Caucus to provide pathways for women into politics.

The number of women in the Wyoming legislature took a hit last fall. In the session that starts Tuesday there will be 13 women in the House of Representatives and one woman serving in the Senate.
