The deadly collapse of a stage last year at the Indiana State Fair has resulted in heavy fines against the company that built the structure.

Leading up to the Sugarland concert at the Indiana State Fair the temperature started dropping and the winds came up. A series of  winds gusts, including some estimated over 60 mph, toppled the stage. At last report 49 people were transported to the hospital. 4 people died at the scene and another later at the hospital. The Indiana State Fair reopens today.
