Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.94/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 494 stations in Wyoming. Prices in Wyoming are 41.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 40.9 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 7.3 cents in the last week and stands at $5.04 per gallon.
While gas prices have fallen again for the ninth straight week in Wyoming and across the country, there's a possibility that the streak could be broken soon.
Governor Mark Gordon recently announced that, as a response to rising gasoline prices, he has created a Gas and Diesel Price Working Group that will "focus on ways to find relief for consumers feeling the pinch of rising fuel costs."
