Casper Fire Chief Announces Retirement

Sheridan Fire Chief Resigns To Save City Money

SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) — Sheridan's fire chief and emergency services director says he has a way to save the city money — eliminate his job.

The Sheridan Press (http://bit.ly/ygqUih ) reports that in a letter addressed to Mayor Dave Kinskey on Thursday, Fire Chief Patrick Reitz says his decision to resign is based on budgetary needs of the city and the fire department, and he recommends that the position not be refilled
