A disaster response plan that addresses energy supply is in the works for the City of Casper.

A grant from the U.S. Department of Energy has funded a year of research on what our community can do to be energy prepared in an emergency and city officials want to share that information at a Energy Assurance Training next week

In anticipation of a man-made or natural disaster Casper is one of 43 cities across the nation that's accepted federal funds for use in creating an emergency energy plan.
