College National Finals Needs Your Vote
August 3, 2011 As you know the College National Finals Rodeo won for Best Collegiate Tournament in the country in 2009 by Sports Travel Magazine and as you know they are up for the award again in 2011.
"I spoke with the people at Sports Traveler and there has never been a multi-year winner. No ones ever won it twice and so we have a great opportunity here to, not only win this prestigious award, but to be able to say that we have it again."

June 16, 2011 At College National Finals Rodeo this week a rider from Douglas had some bad luck when her horse was injured going into the second day of slack competition.
Kelsey Scott is a break away roper who says luckily, because she's from Douglas, she has back up horses available. But she maintains that camaraderie and care amongst college rodeo riders generally means if you need to borrow a horse, depending on the event, one will likely come through.
