Rapid City Mail Sorting Could Move To Casper
Letters mailed in Rapid City, South Dakota would have to take a longer trip under one cost-cutting proposal being considered by the U. S. Postal Service.
The agency is considering closing the city's mail-processing and distribution facility and moving those operations to Casper under the plan, the Casper Star-Tribune reports that a letter mailed in Rapid City, or some other towns in western South Dakota, would have to be sent to Casper for sorting and then sent back across the border for delivery
