Phase One Of Casper Yard Waste Ban Starts Today-May 1st

The city of Casper introduces the first phase of a yard waste ban today.

It will be a gradual introduction with the Thursday waste collection route the first to be effected, followed by one additional route each year

A yard waste collection program in Casper gets a limited start up in May.

The program, beginning with Thursday's route, is designed to divert things like leaves, dead plant material or grass clippings out of the land fill, in turn saving money by extending the landfills life
