With the US Senate on their summer break, John Barrasso is spending alot of time in Wyoming attending events and hearing what his constituents have to say about his performance and the machinations of Washington D.C.
Two years ago my friend Craig Warner and i started talking about the idea of taking the longest day of the year and celebrating with a long motorcycle ride. Sanctioned through the Iron Butt Association we picked the Saddle Sore 1000. This is a 1000 mile ride to be completed in 24 hours.
When i first heard that Larry Shyatt was a candidate for the head coaching position at the University of Wyoming, i was reminded of his quick departure in 1998 and was less than thrilled with the selection.
