After more than 30 years on the air, Townsquare Media’s Donovan Short is putting the microphone back on its stand and is retiring from the world of radio broadcasting.
After a record run at the helm of our Casper stations, Bob is moving on from his role as Townsquare Casper’s Market President effective October 1st. However, in true Buffalo Bob fashion, he will remain deeply connected to the brands and community he helped build as Townsquare Media Casper’s Vice President of Community Partnerships, focused on community partnerships and helping our local small businesses succeed and grow.
When the alarm went off this morning at 4:00am, I cursed under my breath as I have for the last few years. After slapping the snooze, I remembered. Today was my last day on the air hosting the K2 Radio Morning Show, and I was suddenly filled with sleepy gratitude for the opportunity given me.
The City of Casper, Natrona County and visitors still will celebrate the total eclipse of the sun in August 2017, but probably with not the big of a splash as had been considered in recent months.
Casper City Council on Tuesday again put off deciding whether to hire a Colorado firm to direct the four-day Eclipse Fest in 2017, and instead consider other companies.
