T-Birds Sweep Central Wyoming

The Casper College basketball teams enjoyed a great deal of success on Wednesday night as they posted big wins over Central Wyoming at the Erickson Gym. The T-Bird men's team rolled CWC 118-72 to improve to 16-1 on the year. Isaac Bonton led the way with 26, Broc Finstuen as well as Amin Adamu had 19 each, Will Likayi, in his first action in quite some time after some ankle issues had 18. The Birds are ranked 10th in the country and won the rebounding war in this game 47-25. The Rustlers from Riverton really had a rough night as they were assessed 5 technical fouls. The Casper College women's team climbed to 12-4 on the year with an 81-53 win over CWC on Wednesday night. The T-Birds were led by Nerea Baena with 23 points as she made 13 of 14 free throws. Raquel Ferrer-Bernad contributed 15 and Lucie Hoskova had 14. Both of the C.C. teams will host LCCC from Cheyenne on Saturday afternoon at the Erickson Gym
