Police are confirming the arrest of a suspect Wednesday night, in the attempted robbery of a Wells Fargo bank in Downtown Casper.

Details are few at this time, but the suspect will be making his first appearance in Federal Court soon.

Investigators say that the robbery attempt happened at approximately 4:00 Wednesday, March 26th.  The suspect was said to have entered the bank, approached a teller, and demanded the teller put money in a bag.  Police say that no weapon was brandished during the incident.

It is then believed that the tell said she did not have a bag to put money in, and went to the back room.  While there the police were contacted.

The suspect was at large for approximately four hours before being arrested in the downtown Casper area.

Further details will be released following the suspect's appearance in Federal Court.
