Video Update - Windy and Unsettled Weather with some Snow expected through Friday, watch the DayWeather Video Update for the latest developments on this storm.

Any lingering snow shower activity will come to an end early today as our latest weather system moves out of the area.  We will then see gradually clearing skies for the rest of the day.  Temperatures will also be cold and well below normal.  Highs will be in the 30's and 40's, with some 20's in the mountains.  While there will be no new precipitation later today, strong winds (gusts up to 45 mph) will continue to create areas of blowing snow across southeastern portions of the state.  Watch out for some areas of lowered visibility and slick/icy spots, including parts of I-80 and I-25.  Elsewhere, winds gusts will generally stay below 35 mph through 5 PM.  After 5 PM, high winds will be likely throughout southern Wyoming.  Wind gusts between 50 and 60 mph will be common, with some higher gusting possible.  For northern and central Wyoming, high winds will not arrive until after 5 AM on Wednesday.  High winds will be likely throughout much of the state into the late afternoon/early evening hours on Wednesday and will then lessen (35 to 50 mph) on Wednesday night.  Light snow will also redevelop on Wednesday statewide as a cold front and weather system move through the area.  On-going snow and blowing snow could reduce visibility at times and cause roads to become slick and icy.
