UPDATE: Casper Police Sgt. Steve Freel says based on the preliminary information that the department has received, the officer(s) involved, followed protocol.

Original Story: A man was wounded by Casper police, in a shooting incident.

A Police spokesperson says at around 10pm on Monday, April 28th, officers were called to the 1600 block of South Wilson Street, to respond to an unidentified suicidal subject.

When officers arrived on scene, they became involved in a shooting incident.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, and mo officers were injured.

The Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigations is looking into the situation.

The Natrona County District Attorney's Office says it's too early to tell, whether any charges will be filed.
