Student Dies, District Offers Counseling

A female 10th-grade student, 15-year-old Julien Fujita,  died on Monday, according to a prepared statement from the school district on Wednesday..

“The NCSD wishes to convey its condolences to the family and friends of the Natrona County High School student who passed away on Monday, August 18th, 2014.”

Counselors will be available for those in need at the school’s Student Fitness and Activity Center from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, according to the statement.

District spokesman Kelly Eastes said little information is known about the circumstances surrounding the death.

Eastes said he will withhold comment until further information is made available.
