Steven Harris Pleads Guilty To Sex Crime Charges

A Michigan man is admitting to having sex with an under-aged girl in Casper.

Fifty-two-year old Steven Harris has pleaded guilty to one count of second degree sexual abuse of a minor, and one count of thIrd degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Investigators say from May through September of 2011, Harris was staying at a friends house, when it was discovered he was having a sexual relationship, with an underaged girl that also lived there.

He was evicted, but then let back in a few months later, and the relationship continued.

Eventually, Harris moved to Michigan, but was still in contact with the victim through Facebook.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than an eight-to-13 prison sentence.

Harris is being held on $75,000 bond and will be sentenced at a later date.
