An upper-level weather system and cool front will slowly approach the state of Wyoming today.  Monsoonal moisture will also be transported into the region during this time.  Expect mostly sunny, hazy skies early in the day and then clouds will thicken during the afternoon and evening hours.  Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are also possible.  Any storm that develops could be strong to severe and capable of producing hail, gusty winds, lots of lightning, and brief periods of heavy rain.  Temperatures will also remain unseasonably hot statewide, with daytime highs in the 80's and 90's.  This cool front and weather system will continue to slowly move across the region on Thursday.  Expect partly sunny skies, breezy to gusty winds, and another chance for showers and thunderstorms.   Temperatures will also be noticeably cooler and closer to average.  By Friday, higher pressure will build over the region, which will keep skies mostly sunny.  Temperatures will also remain warm and near average for the end of the work week.  However, we cannot rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm due to lingering low-level moisture and daytime heating.
