Staying Colder Than Normal With A Small Chance For Rain

Expect early fog and clouds with a small chance for rain and snow showers today as a low pressure system moves out of the area.  Watch out for areas of reduced visibility with some slick and slushy travel conditions along I-80 (Cheyenne to Rawlins) and WY-28 near South Pass into the early afternoon hours.   We will then be in between weather systems by this afternoon and evening.  However, we cannot rule out a few isolated rain showers, mainly across far southern Wyoming, due to lingering low-level moisture.  Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with colder than normal temperatures.  Daytime highs will remain in the 40's and 50's.  Another low pressure system will approach the region on Thursday and then become settled over the area by Friday.  We will see partly to mostly cloudy skies with a chance for late showers and thunderstorms on Thursday.  Cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms are then looking likely on Friday.  Heavy rain and minor flooding will also be possible for the end of the work week.  Temperatures will be not as cold, but still cooler than normal.  Expect daytime highs in the 50's to lower 60's on both Thursday and Friday.
