CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Division of State Parks, Historic States and Trails is holding guided hikes around the state on New Year's Day. Similar hikes are being held in all 50 states as part of America's State Parks First Day Hikes initiative.

In Wyoming, hikes start at 1 p.m. at Fort Bridger State Historic Site, at Curt Gowdy State Park and at Guernsey State Park. There's also a hike at Glendo State Park that starts at 10 a.m.
