Atmospheric moisture coming in from the Pacific will head our way today and this weekend.  The western third of the state looks to be in the best position for spring showers today through the weekend.  The higher elevations and mountains will see a rain/snow mix to all snow at times.

Further east, temperatures will continue to be quite mild and top off in the 60s to near 70 today.  Strong winds ahead of a front that will cross the state late today will be of a concern in the east central and southeastern portions of the state due to the very dry conditions.  Parts of southeastern and east central Wyoming are under a Red Flag Warning this afternoon through 7 PM this evening.  Wind in the warning area will increase and gust to 40 mph at times.  The central and eastern plains may see a handful of light showers or perhaps a thunderstorm or two later today and this weekend.
