Softball Umpire Clinic Comes To Casper

On Thursday, April 4, 2013 the Casper Recreation Division will host a Softball Umpires Clinic and register potential umpires with The Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA). The meeting will be held at the Casper Recreation Center, 1801 East 4th Street at 6:30pm. The ASA district #9 commissioner and the state umpire-in-chief will provide the training for the clinic. The clinic is free of charge. Anyone interested in umpiring city league softball must attend this meeting and register with ASA.

Softball games begin May 13, 2013 and continue through fall. League games are played on weekdays in the evenings. There are several weekend tournaments throughout the season. All games are played at Crossroads and North Casper Softball Complexes.
