The northwestern portion of the state will be in the best position for snow showers today.  This snow will spread further south into west central and southwestern Wyoming Friday into Saturday.  A Winter Storm Watch has been posted for western portions of the state Friday through the weekend.

Meanwhile, further east the main weather concern will be the wind.  The strongest winds today will be found in pockets of central and southeastern Wyoming where gusts of 35 to 40 mph are expected.  Portions of southeast Wyoming are under a High Wind Watch later Friday through Saturday afternoon.  Stretches of I-80 could see west winds gust to 60 mph at times.
