Today through Wednesday, expect slowly warming temperatures (60's to 70's) statewide, with frequent development of afternoon and evening thunderstorms.  Strong to severe thunderstorm activity will be likely during the late afternoon and evening hours again Wednesday for the southeast corner of the state.

Temperatures rise further into the 70's for Thursday and Friday, with more showers and late-day thunderstorms.  Then more instability with showers and rain for the holiday weekend ahead.
