Slash Pile Burning On Casper Mountain

If you see smoke on Casper Mountain this weekend, it's because some of the residents will be doing some slash pile burning. Most of the burning will occur on the west side of Casper Mountain.

Natrona County Fire District Chief Kevin Finn say slash pile burning is a way to clean up the mountain before summer.

Chief Finn says that this type of burning could last  as long as two to three days.
