CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A storm system moving across Wyoming is expected to bring some significant snowfall.

About 8 inches had fallen in Buffalo and Cody by Friday morning. The National Weather Service said the storm will also impact western Wyoming before moving to Sweetwater and Natrona counties later in the day into Saturday.

Up to a foot of snow is forecast in the Jackson area.

There's a chance of snow in Cheyenne late Friday. So far this snow season, the city has gotten 25.1 inches, making it the third snowiest snow season there so far.
