Sheriff’s Department Identifies Body [Updated]

UPDATE: Investigators say Pease was stabbed in the heart. . Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Linda Gesell says the case is being investigated as a homicide until they have reason to believe otherwise. Until toxicology results are available investigators won't know for sure that he stab wound is what killed him.

The Laramie County Sheriff's Department says a body found near T-Joes Steakhouse was that of 34 year old David Pease.

Pease, a T-Joes employee, had last been seen Friday night. Co-workers had become concerned when he didn't show up for work Saturday.

His naked body was found next to his trailer behind T-Joes, with a knife beside it. An autopsy is pending and the case remains under investigation.
