Morad Park users in Casper may be noticing the first signs of a new trail to be built through that section of the Platte River Parkway Trail System.

Parkway Trust Executive Director, Angela Emery, says a recent walk through by engineers left markers along the proposed route.

"It's definitely one of the most popular parks in town. So we hope that this project will ease the congestion along the river and basically create another space for people to be."

Emery says they are moving forward on the design and hope to be constructing the new 10 foot wide pathway along the back side of Morad Park by late summer.
