Search Continues for Cheyenne Man Accused of Beating Wife with Baton [VIDEO]

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office continues to look for a man accused of beating his wife in the Cheyenne Home Depot parking lot in April.

Lt. Don Hollingshead says 36-year-old Zachary Hernandez is still at large.

"His charges stem from a domestic violence act where he had hit his wife in the face with an expandable baton and then grabbed her by the head and smashed her face in
the dash," said Hollingshead.

Hernandez is a 5-foot-9, Hispanic man weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Hernandez 's whereabouts is asked to call the Laramie County Combined Communications Center at (307) 637-6524 or Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.

"He seems to be kind of a violent individual and we would really love the public's help in getting him off the streets to stand for his charges," said Hollingshead.
