Save Money With a Home Energy Audit

Casper College and the Green Outreach Project present their next free seminar where home owners can learn the benefits of receiving a home energy audit.

This Thursday, beginning at six-thirty pm, Casper College and the Green Outreach Project have scheduled home energy auditing expert, John Snyder, to explain how a home energy audit works and what to do with the results.

People think an energy audit, well, they correlate that with a bad connotation instead of a benefit.

Snyder is an experienced field auditor and is also the owner of Green Steps, an energy auditing firm specializing in small commercial business and home evaluations.

Really, the big reason why I'm doing the presentation is to educate people on, number one, the little things they can do to be more energy efficient. And two, a lot of the benefits you can get from having an energy auditor come in and evaluate and give them recommendations that are cost effective for themselves.

The lecture will be held in room 217 of the Strausner Student Center on the Casper College Campus.
