The state of Wyoming will be in between weather systems for much of Christmas Eve.  Expect partly to mostly sunny skies, breezy to strong winds, and mainly dry weather conditions.  Temperatures will also remain cold and near or slightly below normal, with highs in the 20's.  A low pressure system will then become settled over southwestern potions of the nation later tonight, Christmas Day, and Saturday.  This will force moisture and atmospheric instability into Wyoming during this time.  A strong Arctic cold front will also dig south across the region on Christmas Day.  Expect cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, cold temperatures, and breezy to gusty winds on Christmas Day.  Flurries or light snow showers will develop in southern Wyoming during the morning hours and will continue to push into the rest of the state by mid-day.  Light to scattered snow will then be possible for the rest of Christmas Day into early on Saturday.  Watch out for reduced visibility with slick and icy roads on Christmas Day through much of Saturday.  Temperatures will also become bitterly cold by Saturday.
