An update on the new Sage Grouse Executive Order plus guidance on accessing the data behind it are being offered through workshops around the state.

Next Wednesday, June 27th, the Wyoming Game and Fish will offer a session at Casper College. Its free and open to the public.

"If anyone is looking at a project inside a core area that requires either a federal or state permit they may want to consider coming."

Game and Fish Spokesperson, Mary Flanderka, says the workshop offers the technical skills for accessing the on-line data bases. She says it requires some GIS and some computers skills, but the web application is designed so anyone can access it quickly and easily.

The Casper workshop runs 10:30 to 4:00, June 27th, in the Wold Physical Science Building at Casper College and repeats the next day, June 28th, at Sheridan College.

RSVPs are requested in order to provide updates on handouts or workshop details.

Please contact Gwen Booth to RSVP at (307) 777-4506 or gwen.booth@wyo.gov.
