A rollover accident on Wyoming 387 just west of Wright killed a man from Evansville Thursday afternoon. 73-year-old, Robert Mcamis, died when the driver, 76-year-old, Jacquelin M. Thompson-Mcamis, attempted to pass a tractor trailer that was in the process of making a left hand turn.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper,  Sgt Steven Townsend, says she attempted to brake, but the vehicle she was driving collided with the truck.

"After impact with the commercial vehicle it went off the road and then overturned one 1/2 time partially ejecting a passenger."

Townsend says Robert Mcamis was sleeping in the back seat of the pickup truck without a seat belt and was partially ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene.

Jacquelin Thompson-Mcamis was hospitalized at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette
