A Casper man has admitted to lesser charges, but will spend some time in jail for holding a pistol at his girlfriend's head and firing a round into the ceiling.

Thirty-four year old Rocky Brown was sentenced to four months in jail, after pleading guilty to reduced misdemeanor charges of reckless endangering and domestic battery.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in September, Brown's girlfriend told them, she came home and saw him with his other girlfriend, who is 14 years his junior.

They began arguing, and moved the argument outside their apartment on Partridge Lane..

The girlfriend locked Brown out of the apartment, but he was able to crawl through a window to get inside a bedroom.

He then retrieved his .22-caliber pistol from a dresser, dragged her by her hair into the hallway, pointed it at her and told her, “‘I just want you to love me’” while she was still on her hands and knees.

According to the affidavit, he pointed a gun at her in August and told her the same thing.

In early July, the couple were arguing when Brown broke a piece of a banister and hitting her multiple times in front of their children, according to the affidavit.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors dropped two charges of aggravated assault, and had recommended probation, but a judge noted Brown's past criminal history and noted some jail time was needed.
