A Casper man is accused of plotting to hire another person to set fire to his ex-girlfriend's car.

Robert Turner is facing charges of solicitation to commit first and third degree arson, as well as solicitation to commit property damage.

Investigators say in late July, Turner's ex-girlfriend ended a two-and-a-half year relationship with him.

Prosecutors say Turner later started making threats to the victim, through her Facebook friends.

In August, police were contacted by another man, who said Turner paid him to set fire to his ex-girlfriend's car.

Prosecutors used the informant to get Turner to admit his plans, and intend to use that tape as evidence.

Turner is being held on one-hundred thousand dollars bond awaiting trial.
