A Casper man has been sentenced in case where he had a child in a room with meth paraphernalia.

Robert Coffey was given a four-to-five year suspended prison sentence, with three years of supervised probation, after pleading guilty to one charge of child endangerment meth.

Back in August, police were informed by a tip, that the child was not being cared for properly and was possibly being exposed to methamphetamine.

Coffey initially claimed that the paraphernalia belonged to a third party.

Another person in the case, Deanna Brasiel is still awaiting to be sentenced.
