A low pressure system will remain settled over the entire west coast and Rockies today and Wednesday.  As a result, a southwesterly flow will transport plenty of subtropical moisture and atmospheric energy into the state of Wyoming during this time.  By Thursday and Friday, this low pressure system will finally move into the entire Rockies and Plains.  Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies, seasonably mild temperatures (60's and 70's), and isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms statewide today and Wednesday.  Any storm that develops will have the potential to be strong to severe, which could produce brief periods of heavy rain, very strong winds, hail, and frequent lightning.  We will continue to see more clouds than sun with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday.  Temperatures will also become a few degrees cooler and slightly below normal.
