Road Impact Forecast for Tuesday, April 19 [VIDEO]

A "cut-off" low pressure system continues to hover over the state of Wyoming today and will then finally move out of the region on Wednesday.  For today, expect cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, breezy to gusty winds, and colder than normal temperatures.  There will also be a chance for light snow or a rain/snow mix statewide.  Roads could become wet at times today and then any roads that are wet after sunset will have the potential to freeze and create black ice.  On Wednesday, there will be a few lingering flurries or very light snow showers throughout the state during the morning hours.  Shower activity could also develop in southeastern Wyoming later in the day due to lingering low-level moisture and atmospheric instability.  Otherwise, we will see increasing sunshine with milder and closer to normal temperatures.  High pressure will then be the main weather feature on Thursday and Friday.  Expect minimal cloudiness, unseasonably mild temperatures, and mainly dry weather conditions.
