Road Impact Forecast for Friday, April 29 [VIDEO]

A large trough of low pressure will remain settled over the Rockies and Plains today, Saturday, and Sunday.  Within this large weather system, there will be faster-moving weather disturbances that transport moisture and energy into the state of Wyoming.  For today and Saturday, expect cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, areas of patchy fog, and colder than normal (30's to lower 40's) temperatures.  Light to moderate snowfall will be found throughout the state.  The greatest travel impacts will occur in southeastern portions of the state.  Expect poor visibility due to snow, blowing snow, and possible fog.  Roads will also be turning slick/very slushy to possibly even snow-packed in areas.  For the rest of the state, watch out for periods of reduced visibility with wet to slick/slushy roads.  On Sunday, expect morning clouds, freezing fog, and lingering snow showers.  Conditions will then begin to improve for the rest of the day.  Temperatures, however, remain colder than normal.
