GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming Game and Fish officials are looking for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for almost 400 fish dumped near Gillette.

A pile of fish, including at least 368 crappie, was found in a field Saturday. They had been there for three or four days before they were discovered.

Wardens say no edible portions of the fish had been removed, and called it a major waste of game fish.

A $500 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
