The Cheyenne office of the National Weather Service is warning about extremely high fire danger in some areas Tuesday afternoon and evening.

The service has issued this statement:

"Another dry, windy and warm day across Carbon County to include Rawlins, Baggs, Dixon and Saratoga today. Red Flag Warnings in effect for this afternoon as we are expecting southwest wind gusts to 35 mph along with afternoon humidity in the low teens. These conditions will likely aid in the spread of the Ryan Fire in southern Carbon County. Keep up to date on the Ryan Fire by visiting the Inciweb website at: https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/6210/"
